Naomi & Delores /

“The day they arrested us, we felt humiliated, wrongly accused because we are transvestites, while the Cameroonian law condemns the practice of homosexuality in the act. We were mistreated, insulted, accused of being sorcerer and we were sentenced to 5-years of prison, that day we felt rejected by family, but thanks to the grace of God, we were purely and simply acquitted. The lesson we learned from this experience in prison is: Knowing our rights, knowing the suffering and be cautious.”
