“There is hope. It keeps us going. And also knowing that we are not in this fight alone keeps us strong. We have a very long way to go/win this struggle but I am glad that we are not just sitting back. We are doing something to change the situation. I dream of the day I will wake up and walk my dog in the neighborhood and not have to fear to be attacked. The day I will stop worrying about being evicted or the day I will stop being bashed and abused on social media. That day will come. If not in my lifetime, it will for my children, my children’s children and many more. Aluta continua.”
