“I’m a 15 year old girl in the usa. I’ve known i wasn’t like the other kids at my school every since i was 12. I Never knew about lgbt people until I Began to look on the internet. I had always assumed that i would Be like everyone Else when i was older. No one knows that i’m romantically attracted to girls. Some people know that I’m asexual, but they think that i’m just being weird and will grow oUt of it later. One of my Old friends Once taunted me with a pencil That she called a penis, stabbing me with it until i had fallen out of my seat onto the ground. I don’t even want to know what she would do if She knEw i was not straight. A lot of people in my Grade use words like fag, say ‘no homo’, and use the word gay as an insult. I just Feel so alone.”
