“Living in India, where same sex marriage is considered to be filthy I had a really tough time growing up. Confused as I was, I dint know with whom to share this fact of mine. I was scared, but even though I was closeted people had to find out who truly I was. I had a crush on one guy from my high school n when I confessed it to him, though it took me emense courage, I was treated like an alien and when they found out about it my life turned out to be a living hell. I was bullied, sometimes raped But still this things kept me pushing and now with immense courage I can finally say that I’m gay without the fear of being tortured or being called by names, coz u can never repair a shattered pieces of glass.”
